If you are not ready, today is the day to get ready. ESPN’s family of networks is currently broadcasting a College Basketball Tip-Off Marathon. It started last night at Midnight. I was going to attempt to watch basketball as long as I could last night thinking maybe I could last at least 2 games. I only made it to halftime of the first game. Oh well! The Buckeyes play tonight!
One of the feature games tonight will be the #5 Ohio State Buckeyes taking on the #10 Florida Gators in Gainesville tonight at 6. I know, I know, Buckeye basketball already??? I know you are still focused on Tressel and the Buckeye football squad still but it is time to multi task. The Buckeye basketball team is projected to be one of the top teams in the country. They could possibly have a better season than the football team. The Buckeyes have the #2 recruiting class in the country. Their Terrelle Pryor is a player named Jared Sullinger (#0). The 6’8 262lb. freshman is one the top recruits in the countr.y You may remember his brother JJ who played for the Buckeyes a few years ago. Ohio State also has another Top 15 recruit in DeShaun Thomas the 6’7 Small Forward from Indiana. Don’t forget about the Buckeye upperclassmen Jon Diebler, William Buford, and “Mr. I’ve been at Ohio State since Woody Hayes,” David Lighty. The Buckeyes have a great nucleus to do big things in the Big 10. Let’s see how far they can go.
In local college basketball news: Kent State defeated Robert Morris 62-59 already this morning at the MACC Center in Kent.
