Liverpool, England is well known as the hometown of the likes of [lastfm link_type=""]John Lennon[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=""]Paul McCartney[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=""]George Harrison[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=""]Ringo Starr[/lastfm], but there is another Beatle that hails from the town and this week, Liverpool City Council is considering honoring him. It’s original drummer [lastfm link_type=""]Pete Best [/lastfm]and the town wants to name a street after him for his “special contribution” to the city’s musical heritage. The council will make a decision in the coming weeks.
