Taking a break from Aerosmith has done nothing to stop Steven Tyler from playing live music and working with other musicians.
[photogallerylink id=23303 align=left] The most recent report coming out of the Maui News revealed that Tyler recently recorded a track with Mick Fleetwood, Johnny Lang, and Stevie McVie for an upcoming ZZ Top tribute album, which doesn’t yet have a title or official release date. Two weeks ago, Tyler played a live benefit concert in Los Angeles with Fleetwood and members of super-group Camp Freddy, featuring Dave Navarro and Matt Rosum of Guns N’ Roses.
“We all got together and we had a ball. Steven is a really good drummer,” Fleetwood said. “He came on and played ‘Wipeout’ and kicked the hell out of it.”
