[lastfm link_type=""]Eric Clapton[/lastfm] will join trumpet player and bandleader [lastfm link_type=""]Wynton Marsalis[/lastfm] for two special shows celebrating the blues in New York in April. Along with [lastfm link_type=""]Taj Mahal[/lastfm], they’ll perform songs from some of the most important early blues and jazz figures, including [lastfm link_type=""]Howling Wolf[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=""]Ma Rainey[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=""]Fats Walker[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type=""]Louis Armstrong[/lastfm]. The shows will be held at the Rose Theatre at Lincoln Center on April 8th and 9th.
