
As we reach the mid-point of February, just a quick reminder that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is still celebrating Black History Month with more films in their series titled “Double Exposure: African American Music on Film.”
On Wednesday night (February 23) it’s 1973′s “Wattstax” that captured the Wattstax Concert that Stax Records organized to commemorate the anniversary of the Watts Riots in LA. Along with great concert footage, it also focuses on the turbulent times through interviews as well as commentary from Richard Pryor.
