What an ending to the Southern 500 at Darlington on Saturday night! Reagan Smith picked up his first ever win, to the delight of many fans and drivers in NASCAR. However, the big story was the battle between Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch. It turned epic after the checkered flag. Click to see what happened…

Kyle Busch just brought back “ghostriding” in 2011, as he sent Kevin Harvick’s unoccupied car into the wall. Who remembers ghostriding bicycles back in the day? I like Kevin Harvick but he got punked this time. He was spun out of winning contention during the race, then while playing bumper cars on pit road during the post race he climbs out of his car to confront Busch.  Then as soon as Harvick gets out of his car to confront Busch, Kyle  had wrecked Kevin’s car without him being in it. Then Kevin Harvick was forced to take the walk of shame down pit road. It was a rough night for Kevin Harvick.

Harvick did started this though, after Kevin let Kyle by going into the corner, he blatantly bumped Kyle in the middle of the turn which caused Kyle to be loose throughout the turn which also created the 3-wide situation that we saw on the backstretch which resulted in Clint Bowyer being put into the wall. While Kevin started it, Kyle took it to another level when he wrecked Kevin Harvick for no reason during the Clint Bowyer incident. Oh wait, there was reason, it’s called retaliation.

If I’m Kyle Busch, I’m more afraid of Delana Harvick than I am Kevin Harvick. When Kyle wrecked Kevin on the backstretch it looked like Delana Harvick was going to go Carrie Underwood on Kyle Busch’s ride after the race.  I know she has the baseball bat back in the RV. You got to watch the blondes, they get fired up!

This will be the new big feud in NASCAR. Unless NASCAR hates and puts these guys on some kind of ridiculous probation,  I see this one lasting for a while. There will be some wrecked racecars in the future of this duel.
