[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Leslie West[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mountain[/lastfm] is battling back from the emergency amputation of part of his right leg two weeks ago. There was the inevitable depression that followed the surgery. Plus the lingering irony that the guy who is best known for the song “Mississippi Queen” had the procedure done in, of all places, Mississippi. He expects to be well enough to go home to New Jersey this week to continue his rehab. We wish Leslie all the best, and a quick recovery.
