Tareq Salahi and his wife Michaele Salahi, reality TV stars who gained infamy as the so-called White House gate crashers, grabbed headlines on Wednesday when he reported his wife was abducted, and she later contacted law enforcement officials to say she was fine and didn’t want him to know her whereabouts.
A spokeswoman for the rock band [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Journey[/lastfm] said Michaele and the group’s guitarist Neal Schon were together in Memphis for a concert. “Nobody kidnapped her,” said the spokeswoman.
Journey played a show in Memphis last night. Michaela was also at their show in Nashville on Tuesday night, when she tossed the old line to her husband about “visiting her mother”.
Turns out Mrs. Salahi advised that she did not want Mr. Salahi to know where she was and she was very sorry that the police got involved, but said “don’t want to be home right now.”
Silek added that Tareq is heartbroken and confused after learning his wife, 45, ran off with Schon, 57.
Tareq Salahi is telling friends, he feels “betrayed” by Journey guitarist Neal Schon, a trusted friend who has hooked up — again — with his wife, Michaele.
Tareq is saying he considered Neal and his band members “best friends.” The band recently came to his winery in Virginia and played for free and even stayed with Tareq and Michaele.
Next time you wife is missing might want to check with the band before the police.
