I know this poem will hit home with those of you who ride. I have a very good friend who is so talented in many ways, Loren Love from Mentor, I have to share his poem, October Ghosts. Hope you enjoy it.

Love,

Paula

OCTOBER GHOSTS

Black and chrome in the full moon’s light

Leaves of orange and air that makes us leather up tight

… Another season coming to an end

Another year gone and one more friend

We feel them with us, our thoughts we send

As we ride on the road that never ends

To those that don’t, they say there is so much more

But give us two wheels and we have worlds to explore

Sisters and brothers, a family of our own

Some come, some go, but my how we’ve grown

So when you see the full moon on an October night

Remember those that have departed, and wish them goodnight
