Live on Letterman will see a first this Wednesday, as Peter Gabriel brings a full orchestra to the Ed Sullivan Theater stage for his live concert performance. He’ll be performing tracks from New Blood, his latest album, which re-imagines tracks from throughout his career.
Today Last.fm Trends looks at the tracks that his fans love, via their scrobbles on Last.fm.
Gabriel’s top track is “Solsbury Hill,” initially his first single in 1977 and now the closing track for New Blood. With 1,033,081 scrobbles from 217,888 listeners, it’ll undoubtedly be a favorite for Wednesday’s performance.
Conversely, New Blood has also reinvigorated lesser-known tracks, such as “The Nest That Sailed The Sky” from 2000′s OVO. The graph on the left shows how new listeners have been pulled in: tune in to hear how your favorites have been reinvented.
