[photogallerylink id=64631 align=left]Happy 60th birthday to KISS’ Paul Stanley. Born on January 20,1952 in Manhattan, Stanley would become one of the top vocalists of all time. Primarily known as the vocalist and rhythm guitarist for KISS, the Starchild is responsible for writing many of the band’s hits.
Following the dissolution of Wicked Lester (with Gene Simmons) in 1972, ads were placed in several New York newspapers in search of a drummer. The duo soon added Peter Criss and Ace Frehley and KISS was formed. In 1974, KISS would release their first album.
Stanley wed his second wife Erin Sutton on November 19, 2005. They have three children; Colin Michael, Sarah Brianna, and Emily Grace. He has another son, Evan Shane, from his marriage to Pamela Bowen.
KISS has been awarded 28 gold albums to date, the most of any American rock band and sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. They are currently working on their 20th studio album.
