Joe Walsh was back in Cleveland this week to work on new James Gang recordings of well known classic with bandmates Jimmy Fox and Dale Peters. The group set up at Lava Room Recording in the Agora complex on Euclid Ave.

Lava Room owner Mike Brown posted “We are excited to have Grammy Award winning artist, Joe Walsh (The Eagles, The James Gang) in the studio today. He is accompanied by legendary producer Bill Szymczyk, Dale Peters (Bass) & Jimmy Fox (Drums).”

Brown also says a few musical guests stopped in the studio to lend their talents including drummer Joe Vitale, who has played with the Eagles and Crosvy, Still & Nash, along with the North Coast’s favorite son, Michael Stanley.
The album is being produced by Bill Szymczyk. He has recorded numerous hits and albums for the Eagles, James Gang, B.B. King, Michael Stanley, J. Geils, the Who, and Bob Seger.
Joe Walsh will release his first studio album in nearly 20 years on June 5th. You can stream the title track here.
