I am totally amazed by big-wave surfers and now Garrett McNamara of Hawaii has set the Guinness World record for riding the biggest ever when he took on a 78-foot wave off the coast of Portugal. If you’re into this kind of thing you should really check out the documentary “Riding Giants” or the book “The Wave” by Susan Casey; both are well-worth your time!
