Happy birthday/anniversary to Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. One of those guys that makes any band that he’s in, better. From the early days with Faces and those great Rod Stewart solo albums, to his last 37 years (as of today) with the Stones, Woody’s contributions are unmistakable.  Not only with his guitar, but often as the peacemaker between Mick and Keith. That alone is enough to drive a man to drink!

Woody was in town recently for his induction to the Rock Hall, and his presence greatly added to the ceremony and associated events.

As an accomplished painter and world-class axeman, what could we possibly suggest for an appropriate gift on this special day. How about a call from Mick, saying “Hey Woody, let’s get the band together one last time and show these kids how it’s really done”!
