The Cleveland State campus area will be gaining a tasty addition to the growing amount of restaurants flocking to the downtown area.
JB Mack Marconi and Cheese Kitchen will be opening Monday, July 16 as Cleveland’s first restaurant centered around the food most of us were fed since before we could walk. Set to be located on Euclid Avenue at East 21th, JB Mack’s menu caters to the child in everyone, expecting to get a good amount of business from both students and families.
Company owner Jonathan Bellobuono saw a prime opportunity in the chance to expand to Cleveland, saying, “We love the idea of being located on a busy street and across from a big college campus. JB Mack’s menu appeals to people of all ages (from students to faculty, to local businesses) we will have something for everyone.” JB Mack offers hundreds of macroni & cheese combinations; giving the customer complete control of whatever recipe they want to conjure up. JB Mack’s also offers other top American comfort foods – grilled cheese, wraps, soups and salads are also on the menu.
JB Mack’s franchise owner David Kaufman and his brother also own Brothers Printing and University Lofts, located in the same building where the restaurant will be located. He said they saw an opportunity for the new business with all of the improvements in the area. “We’re timing this with development and what’s going on with the university. So many positive things going on across the street,” said Kaufman.
