Queen‘s keyboardist, Spike Edney, may have had a bad case of loose lips during a keyboard demonstration with Korg.
During a video released by Korg, the makers of Spike’s keyboards, he gave a demonstration and discussed the different sounds he uses during Queen concerts. Edney kept his lips sealed until the end when he talks about how great his new Korg has been during the past six shows he’s played.
“I’ve used it for six shows now, learning more about it all the time.” he said. “Looking forward to taking it around the world next year on a big tour. Fingers crossed.”
Spike’s comments have caused speculation to rise, once again, about pop star/American Idol alum Adam Lambert filling Freddie Mercury’s shoes as Queen frontman. This summer, Lambert and Queen have taken Europe by storm, performing six shows starting in Keiv, Ukraine and ending last month in London.
Spike spills the beans at around the 7:50 mark. Watch below.
