Nearly one year has passed since Journey guitarist Neal Schon and White House party crasher/reality tv star Michaele Salahi began their headline making relationship. Now, the two can finally make it official.
The divorce between Michaele and her husband Tareq has been finalized. Part of the settlement is an agreement to dismiss Tareq’s $50 million lawsuit against Schon, Journey and two entertainment companies. Tareq (who is running for governor of Virginia in 2013) accused the duo of engaging in “outrageous and intolerable conduct” a way of promoting their business interests.
Schon says, “I was never concerned about the $50 million lawsuit as I knew it was always about their divorce. It’s over. I win, she’s with me. I wish Tareq the best with his candidacy.”
Journey will make a return to Northeast Ohio on Saturday, September 22nd when they perform at Blossom Music Center alongside Pat Benatar and Loverboy. Tickets and more information are available HERE.
