Ohio University in Athens has been dethroned as the nation’s top party school in 2013. The former champions of last year were voted number 3 in the Princeton Review’s “Best 377 Colleges” behind West Virginia University and the University of Iowa.

The Princeton Review rankings are based off of a survey that asked 122,000 students at 377 top colleges across the country to rate their schools on dozens of topics including questions about academics, administration, campus life, student body and themselves.

Other categories OU was ranked in this year include 17th for Best College Newspaper, 2nd for Lots of Beer, 5th for Lots of Hard Liquor, 15th for Most Beautiful Campus, 18th for Student Study the Least and 5th for Best Athletic Facilities.

Miami University of Ohio in Oxford ranked 9th overall in the top party schools rankings as well. The 2013 edition goes on sale today.
