CLEVELAND (WNCX) –One Cleveland judge has no tolerance for idiots — especially ones who put the safety of others at risk from behind the wheel.
This past September, a Cleveland Metropolitan School District bus driver caught on cell phone video a motorist speeding around the stopped bus on East 38th Street near Superior Avenue and Payne Avenue.
While the students aboard the bus laughed as police pulled the brazen driver over, the judge found the maneuver no laughing matter.
Now, 32-year-old Shena Hardin has been ordered to wear a sign at the corner of East 38th Street and Payne on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. that reads, “Only an idiot would drive around a school bus.”
During Monday’s court appearance, the judge ordered Hardin’s license to be suspended for 30 days and pay $250 in court costs.
