The best of both worlds, chocolate chip cookies merged with peanut butter cookies. Who has the milk?
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips
Additional sugar
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, gradually add to creamed mixture, beat until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Shape into 1-in. balls, roll in additional sugar. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets or sheets lined with parchment. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.
