Great recipe for your Memorial Day cookout. Super easy.
3/4 lb of Bacon (cut in small pieces before frying)
1 lb of Ground Chuck
1 Lg Sweet Onion chopped
1 Can 15 oz. Lima Beans drained and rinsed
1 Can 15 oz. Pinto Beans drained and rinsed
1 Can 15 oz. of Butter Beans drained and rinsed
1 Can 15 oz. of Kidney Beans drained and rinsed
1 28 oz. Can of your favorite Pork n Beans DO NOT DRAIN
3/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Ketchup
4 or 5 Tablespoons of White Vinegar depending on your taste.
1 teaspoon of Salt
Pepper to your liking.
Brown cut up pieces of bacon, saute ground chuck with onions then drain the meat mixture. Add all the beans and the rest of the ingredients. Mix gently so as not to break up all the beans. Pour mixture into a casserole, bake at 300 degrees for one and a half hours.
