Emerson, Lake & Palmer will release the reissues of their first three albums on July 29. The progressive rock titans have prepared remastered versions of their 1970 self-titled debut, as well as 1971’s Tarkus and Pictures At An Exhibition.

ELP’s self-titled debut, which spawned the group’s hit “Lucky Man,” will be released as a two CD set. Disc one features the original remastered album, while disc two features a different stereo mix of the album and bonus tracks.

The two-disc set of their second album Tarkus features the 20 minute title track, as well as bonus cuts from the album’s recording sessions including “Unknown Ballad” and “Oh My Father.”

The band’s third album, 1971’s Pictures At An Exhibition was recorded on March 21, 1971 at Newcastle City Hall in England. The late Keith Emerson used the hall’s grand pipe organ during the epic concert. The two-disc installment also contains live tracks recorded in Puerto Rico on December 4, 1972, complete with performances of “The Barbarian,” “Knife Edge,” “Rondo” and “Nut Rocker.”

Accompanying the three reissued albums is a special three CD release titled Emerson, Lake & Palmer – The Anthology. The collection was produced by singer and guitarist Greg Lake and features a career-spanning 39 tracks recorded between 1970 and 1998.

Later this year, ELP will release remastered versions of 1972’s Trilogy, 1973’2 Brain Salad Surgery and their 1974 live album Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends.

The reissues are a fitting memorial to the band’s late-keyboardist Keith Emerson, who died at the age of  71 on March 10th 2016. Before he passed Emerson spoke about the reissues saying, “Emerson, Lake and Palmer are very proud to have brought this great music to a new generation of musicians and fans.”

The efforts will be available on CD, vinyl and via digital download. Click here to pre-order.
