The hands of Eric Clapton that have created so many memorable guitar riffs are also quite adept at fly fishing. He was recently fishing the Vatnsdalsa River in Iceland when he felt that familiar nibble on the line. After a half hour of battling the fish, over almost a mile of the river he landed three and a half-foot, 28 pound salmon, which is a record catch for this summer.
Story and a great picture from the Ice News
The river is catch and release, so we don’t know if Eric is a slowhand with a filet knife.
