It’s Time For The Perseids Again, And You Can View Them At An Overnight Event In Geauga County

It happens every August, The Perseid Meteors shower the night sky. Some of us are lucky to see them, others no so much do to weather and cloud cover. I am hoping Northeast Ohio will be lucky this year. If it’s clear tonight you’ll be able to see them, lots of them.

I am hoping tomorrow night, August 12th into Saturday morning August 13th will be clear so I can view them at the “Meteors and Moths Overnight Event” at Observatory Park in Montville, Ohio. This is an overnight viewing with naturalists on hand to answer questions. You can bring a lounge chair and a thermos of coffee or cooler with water or soft drinks and snacks.
