The folks in Vegas have not been too keen on the Browns chances this year. They have all listed the team as underdogs, some of those games huge underdogs against their Sunday opponents. But with the exception of the season opening loss at Philadelphia, the Browns have been in every game. And late with the outcome still in question with minutes to go in the 4th. Or in the case of the Miami game, decided in overtime. And if you’re like me a betting man, the Browns have covered the spread 3 out of the first 4 games.
Yesterday? You didn’t need to see quarterback Cody Kessler lying in pain to realize well maybe it’s time to prepare for that Tribe-Red Sox Game 3 of the ALDS. No such luck there either since it was a rain out. This home game against the Patriots was just butt ugly. And maybe, maybe they’ll have a chance at Tennessee this coming Sunday. Then, hold on for at Cincinnati, hosting the Jets – Cowboys, at Baltimore then home games with Pittsburgh, the New York Giants before the bye week. 0-11, 1-10 right back atcha.
Oh and don’t think there was any question of rust, after the surgery Tom Brady performed in his return.
Thanks to Ron Borges of the Boston Herald, HERE is his view of the New England Tea Party that Cleveland hosted yesterday at the stadium.
Have a great day. And hopefully the Indians can put a frown not upside down at Fenway Park tonight.
