12 years ago this past August, Category 5 Katrina nailed this area and thankfully Mississippi officials reported no loss of human life when Nate arrived ashore there Sunday morning. However, a church’s supply of pumpkins didn’t fare so well. The storm surge relocated a ton of their pumpkins to the beach when the tide went out.
However, we do have some good news, the bits and pieces of those deceased pumpkins will now be used as animal feed. And, a truckload of new pumpkins will arrive October 14th to that church thank God.
Thanks to WGNO-TV in New Orleans for the story HERE. Have a great day.
