Happy Birthday Gregg AllmanBorn Gregory LeNoir Allman (born December 8, 1947) in Nashville, Tennessee is a rock and blues singer, keyboardist, guitarist and songwriter with a continuous flow of talent. A founding member of The Allman Brothers Band was inducted with the band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 as The Allman Brothers Band. Go figure Gregg Allman and his brother Duane found a love of music early. Even though Gregg pick up the guitar before Duane it’s clear who perfected their guitar playing. One might look at Gregg keeping the group and the fan base together as an entirely different talent that was better purposed as well. They had seen a great variety of artist and styles before forming their own group. Perfecting a number of different techniques and styles as session musicians, they loved soul and R&B, although they listened to their share of rock & roll, especially as it sounded coming out of England in the mid-'60s.
